Legal terms for viewers

Zuvia User Agreement

These terms govern access to Zuvia and its film and video entertainment service. Please read them before creating an account, starting playback, or using membership features.

Effective: September 8, 2026Last updated: September 8, 2026

1. Agreement and service scope

By downloading, opening, registering for, or using Zuvia, you agree to this User Agreement. If you do not accept these terms, do not use the service. Zuvia provides access to a changing media library that can include films, series, episodes, clips, trailers, descriptions, artwork, recommendations, playback controls, viewing history, saved items, and membership-based viewing features.

The titles, catalog size, audio tracks, subtitles, release windows, picture quality, and device availability can differ by territory, licensing rights, subscription status, device capability, and time. A title shown in the library is not a promise that it will remain available for any particular duration. Service notices, purchase screens, and the Privacy Policy form part of the information governing your use.

2. Service eligibility

You must be legally capable of entering a binding agreement in the place where you live. A person below the age of legal majority may use Zuvia only with authorization and supervision from a parent or legal guardian. The parent or guardian is responsible for the minor's use, account activity, viewing choices, and charges.

You may use Zuvia only in territories where the service is offered and only in compliance with local laws, age ratings, export controls, and content restrictions. You are responsible for reviewing ratings and content information before viewing. Circumventing territorial, age, access, or technical controls is prohibited.

3. Account and device use

You must provide accurate account information, keep it current, protect your sign-in credentials, and promptly notify us of suspected unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity performed through your account until you notify us and reasonable protective steps are completed. Do not sell, transfer, sublicense, rent, or commercially share an account.

Account and device use is limited to personal, non-commercial viewing. Zuvia can set reasonable limits on registered devices, simultaneous streams, playback sessions, saved viewing tools, and account verification to protect licensing rights and service security. Removing a device does not erase records already associated with the account. Network charges, compatible hardware, operating-system support, and internet access are your responsibility.

4. Video content restrictions and playback access

Zuvia grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to stream authorized films, series, episodes, clips, trailers, and related material within the app. This right does not transfer ownership. Access depends on the permissions shown for the account and on the media license in effect at the time of viewing.

You must not copy, record, capture, download through unauthorized means, rebroadcast, publicly perform, distribute, modify, translate, scrape, frame, sell, or create derivative works from video, audio, subtitles, artwork, metadata, or software. You must not bypass encryption, digital rights management, geographic controls, playback limits, membership checks, or security measures. Automated extraction, credential testing, and interference with streaming delivery are forbidden.

Playback can pause or fail because of connectivity, device resources, maintenance, rights changes, or events beyond reasonable control. We work to restore normal operation but do not promise uninterrupted or error-free service. Zuvia can adjust encodings, player behavior, catalog organization, and technical requirements while preserving active paid access required by law.

5. User conduct

You agree not to use Zuvia to violate law, infringe rights, harass others, distribute malware, probe security, overload systems, falsify identity, manipulate engagement, or assist unauthorized viewing. You must not use bots or other automated methods to create accounts, access media, collect catalog information, or defeat usage limits.

If Zuvia provides ratings, reviews, lists, profile names, or other interactive features, your submissions must be lawful, relevant, and respectful. You grant Zuvia a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, reproduce, format, and display your submission solely to operate and improve the feature. You retain ownership of your original submission and may remove it through available account controls. We can remove material that violates these terms or creates safety, legal, or operational risk.

6. Intellectual property

Zuvia's software, interface, visual design, trademarks, compilation of the media library, and original materials are protected by intellectual property laws. Films, series, episodes, clips, trailers, music, subtitles, artwork, and related materials are owned by their respective rights holders and are licensed for controlled viewing. No provision grants you a trademark right, ownership interest, or license beyond the limited access described above.

If you believe content available through Zuvia infringes your copyright or another right, email us with your contact details, identification of the protected work, the exact location of the material, a good-faith explanation, and proof that you are authorized to act. We will review complete notices and take action required by law.

7. Membership purchases

Memberships bought in the iOS app are processed as Apple in-app purchases under the Apple Media Services terms and the purchase information displayed by Apple. Apple handles payment authorization, receipts, subscription management, cancellation, and refund decisions for those transactions. Zuvia activates benefits after receiving a valid transaction confirmation from Apple.

Recurring membership terms are explained in the Zuvia Auto-Renewal Agreement. Membership benefits and limits are explained in the Zuvia Membership Service Agreement. If those terms conflict with this User Agreement on a membership-specific matter, the more specific membership or renewal term controls for that matter.

8. Access suspension and termination

We can restrict playback, suspend account access, or terminate service when we reasonably determine that an account has violated these terms, created a security risk, infringed rights, used fraudulent payment activity, or exposed Zuvia or another person to legal harm. Immediate action can be taken when necessary to prevent ongoing harm. We can request verification or corrective action before restoring access.

You may stop using Zuvia at any time and may request account deletion through the app's account controls or by email. Deleting the Zuvia account does not automatically cancel a subscription billed by Apple; cancellation must be completed through the Apple ID account settings. Terms that by their nature should continue, including ownership, payment obligations already incurred, disclaimers, liability limits, and dispute provisions, survive termination.

9. Service responsibility and disputes

The service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that every title will be available in every territory or that every device will support every playback format. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded.

To the extent permitted by law, Zuvia is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive loss arising from use of the service. Our aggregate liability for a claim connected with paid service will not exceed the amount you paid for Zuvia during the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim. This limit does not cover fraud, intentional misconduct, personal injury caused by negligence, or liability that law does not permit us to limit.

Before starting formal proceedings, please contact us and describe the issue so we can attempt a practical resolution. These terms are governed by the laws that validly govern your relationship with the service, without depriving you of mandatory consumer protections in your country or region. If one provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain effective.

10. Changes to these terms

We can update this Agreement to reflect service changes, legal requirements, safety needs, or operating practices. Material changes will be communicated through Zuvia or another reasonable channel before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance to the extent permitted by law. If you do not accept an update, you must stop using Zuvia and manage any Apple subscription separately.
